BACKGROUND:
WIN Athy believes that Children are our strengths and the hope of a great future. Children are also the great leaders of tomorrow and so have a pivotal role to play in positive integration. This they can do by harnessing/celebrating diversity and gainfully managing the strengths thereof. The beauty of this is that it creates and sustains a win-win situation where all citizens are equal, respected, appreciated, celebrated and empowered to attain their full potential for the common good.
It was therefore with great joy and sense of achievement that the WINNING KIDS was established as the children's section/arm of WIN, Athy.
WINNING KIDS had the first practice on the 20th of May, 2008 and practices every 1st & 3rd Tuesdays of the month, 5-6pm. Call 085-730-2474 to sign up your children.
The remit is to create/develop in children the beauty of positive integration through arts/crafts, culture/leisure and home economics.
WINNING KIDS do this by working together under the direct supervision of a dedicated team drawn from WIN, Athy membership namely:

TOGETHER EVERYONE ACHIEVES MORE (TEAM) FOR THE COMMON GOOD.

ö 2016, 2017 and 2018 saw the first out of country camping. Due to its success, we hope to further develop this into international camp exchanges. #Watch this space
öö 2015 WINNING KIDS Summer Camp ongoing. Commenced with three days camping in Dunmore-East and a visit to Tramore Sea Side from 1st to 3rd July and ended with a bash on Saturday, 11th July, 2015 in Athy. Watch out for 2016 SUMMER CAMP

2014 WINNING KIDS Summer Camp now ended. WATCHOUT FOR 2015 SUMMER CAMP.
This year's summer camp was held in Disneyland, Paris as scheduled from the 8th to the 12th of July, 2014. It was a huge and exciting experience.

FIVE years of Summer Camp and the first time of overnight camping.
This year's camp was special and wonderful because we spent the first week in Dunmore-East and had fantastic experiences while the second week was spent in Athy.
During the week in Athy, we went horse riding and chicken farm visit in addition to many other activities. We rounded off the camp with an exhibition of campers works.

Four years of Summer Camp and still counting. This year's camp was wonderful because the campers and volunters were at their best. We wish to thank School Completion Programme (SCP), Athy for supporting WINNING KIDS Summer camp now in its fourth year.
